Augmented satellite launch Vehicle (ASLV) is a small satellite launching vehicle with 5 stages,f solid feulled rocket Operated and developed by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Augmented satellite launch vehicle (ASLV) was a second generation rocket of India after SLV-3. ASLV is capable of launching 150 kg class satellite into 400 km Low Earth orbit (LEO) orbit.
ASLV project give way to Polar satellite launch vehicle ( PSLV ).
